Sam

We lost a family member and best friend on 10/26/2024.

Sam, our Golden Retriever, was a true member of our family. He watched out for us. He loved the beach and exploring. He loved the walks on the beach, picking up driftwood like he had found something special. He was born with a nerve problem with his back legs and had to wear paw boots to walk on streets, but on the beach he was able to run and jump like other dogs. Sam could run like a gazelle!

He had trouble getting up and was clumsy at times, but when he was in the backyard, he would always run to greet people who would come over for a visit. Everyone in our family and our close friends loved him. I miss him so. He was my best friend along with Cooper, our other Golden. These Goldens are so special!

A special God Bless to the Golden Beginnings team because without them, Sam and I would have never been a part of each other’s lives. Sam is gone but never forgotten.
