Golden Beginnings Golden Retriever Rescue, Inc. is an all-volunteer, non-profit, tax-exempt, 501(c)(3) organization. All donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowable by law and are greatly appreciated.

Veterinary care expenses are our most costly and critical financial need, historically accounting for about 93% of our annual costs. Our adoption fees cover about 30-40% of these costs. We rely on donations for the rest.

When we first take in a dog, it is impossible to know their healthcare needs. A substantial number of dogs we rescue have unpredictable and serious conditions requiring expensive treatment. However, it is a joy to see these resilient dogs, who with love and proper care, blossom into happy and loving companions. Your donation will help us to continue providing quality care and loving homes for our dogs.

We welcome a variety of donations including planned giving, matching gifts, personal fundraising, as well as one-time and recurring donations. Please see below for opportunities to give through Kroger and iGive.

Donations can be made by credit card and other personal accounts through Paypal by clicking the donation buttons below. You do not need a PayPal account to make an online donation.

Tax Benefits for Charitable Contributions

If you are over 72, you may need to take a Required Minimum Distribution (RMD). When you need to take an RMD, consider making a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) which allows you to make a donation directly from a taxable IRA to one or more charities without having to pay taxes or penalties. As with all personal financial and investment decisions, please consult your tax advisor to be sure that a QCD is appropriate for you.
